sT. cROIX valley snipers is a Junior A, Tier III Hockey team that has preliminary approval to compete in the in the 2009-2010 Season. The mission of the ST. CROIX valley snipers mission is to: “To educate and train each player so that he has the attributes essential for growth as a collegiate hockey player and to inspire each a lifetime of service to amateur hockey and their home community.” The annual operating budget for the Snipers is approximately $250k per year. These 17-20 year olds pay $5,500 per year to play. However, each team must raise approximately $150k per year in order to make the difference up in operating cost. Please consider in participating in one of the many sponsorship activities. The High School vs JUNIOR DEBATE The ST. CROIX valley snipers will NOT offer a roster spot to any players that are currently enrolled in high school. The Snipers are looking for young men that have graduated from high School and are ready to commit the time and energy into developing their hockey skills with out the constraints of high school academics. High School players are welcome to try out and participate in the "Open" mini-camps for experience, however, roster spots will only be offered to those that have completed high school or have their high school equivalent degree. |

The Snipers announce the 2009 Summer training program for High School Juniors and Seniors. This program is designed for High School players to experience an intense "Junior Life Style" for a summer in order to better equip them for the High School Hockey and the decisions they will face in the near future. The Snipers will be at 970 Main St in Downtown Sturgis for the Sturgis Bike Week Aug 1 - 10, 2008 raising money selling raffle tickets for their major fundraiser to raffle off a 2008 Harley Davidson V-Rod. Come down and see us there as well or at any other events listed under the schedule tab.
